See You Again? [Adam]

[Adam Lyes]

Adam chuckled as he looked over at the employee. He threw up a finger and quickly they guy was making Vanity a cup of coffee. He walked with her to a table and sat her down. "Sadly yes" he teased back, "but don't worry I'll come back for you!" he chuckled as he went and grabbed her coffe, bringing it back to her. "You're gonna have to ditch her...you can't take another episode" he told himself as he sat down. He kinda sighed. He was getting really attached to her, but she seemed like she wouldn't hurt him. Then again, so did the last 3 girls.

Vanity watched him gesture the male to make her a drink. She smiled, following after him. "That's good. Because I'd come back for you." she said, her eyes following his structure as he left to get her drink. How sweet was he, she could of got it. She sat down, looking down at her phone. She saw her mom tried calling her and sighed, pushing talk twice, putting the phone to her ear lightly, closing her eyes as it rang for a few seconds, then heard a voice.

"When will you be home?" Vanity said, "Um. Me? Around..." she glanced at the time, "Ten at the latest. Want me to bring you home anything to eat?" she asked, "Okay. Yeah.... bye." she hung up, sighing to herself. She accually didn't want to go home, but she had no choice, really.

"Thank you." she said as Adam came back. "Would you like some?" she asked, bringing the cup to her lips, taking a small sip.

Adam listened carefully to her converstation. He knew she didn't want to go home, he saw the look in her eyes. His heart kinda sank at that. He knew the feeling. He dreaded comming home to his drunk and passed out dad who laid nearly lifeless on the couch or in the recliner when he felt like moving, which was rare.

He shook his head lightly. "No i'm fine, drink up." he smiled sweetly as her as he crossed his armson the table, his head falling on them as he waited, watching her sip her coffee.

Vanity smiled down at him, "Okay." she said, sipping on it some more. She moved closer, setting her drink down, and putting her arms around him. "So are you nervous?" she asked, glancing at him still. "I know I would. I don't sing, outside of choir and my room." she said, blushing some. Yeah, she was good, she was just shy. How could she sing, when she couldn't even keep herself under control when she barely even touched him?

Adam noded a little, the stage fright settling in his stomach as it made it churn slightly. "Y-yeah I a-am" he chocked out, feeling his throat constricting. He had played out numerous times before, but this time was deifferent. She was there. He was afraid to mess up in front of her and her laugh and it get around the whole school. He sighed gently as he buried his face.

Vanity nodded, "I understand. You'll do fine, Adam." she said, keeping her arms around him. She watched his face burry and let out a little laugh. "Come on. I'm worse than this." she said, gently moving his head, so she could see his face. She kissed him softly, ignoring a few people walk in. His band mates, maybe?

Adam smiled, relaxing as she kissed him. He kissed her back softly and stood up. "That's them." he told her as he pulled her over with him to greet them. "Hey guys, this is Vanity." he told them. They all gave their friendly hellos and shook hands with her. "Wel, we are going to go set up." Adam told her as he walked back with her to the table. He kissed her quickly and ran off to set up.

Vanity felt him pull her off to his friends, smiling some as they were greeted. She looked at Adam, nodding slightly, managing to kiss him back before he ran off. It must of been embarassing for him, kissing her, infront of his friends. Though she kind of liked it. He wasn't scared to.

Adam chuckled as he started to set up on stage. He didn't mind kissing her in front of his friends, and it sure wasn't embarrassing for him...maybe fore her. He shook the thought out of his head as they quickly finished setting up. He smiled as he introduced everyone in the band, and the show began. They opened with on of their favorite songs, "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana, after that they played a couple of their own hand-written songs. Htey soon ended with "Plot to Bomb the Panhandle" by A Day To Remember.

Vanity watched them set up, sipping on her coffee more. She watched them being introduced and smiled some, listening to them play. They weren't bad, she liked them alot. And she wasn't embarassed of them kissing infront of his friends. Maybe hers, well. He was older than her, and her friends would be all up on them, awwing.

She got up, as the show ended and walked over. "You were really, really good." she said, leaning in, kissing his lips softly, her arms going around him a little bit.

Adam grinned as he kissed her back. "Thanks, shall we leave now?" He smiled, taking her hand in his as he started to walk towards the door. He was really glad she enjoyed the show. He didn't want to make a laughing stock out of himself tonight, and was relieved he didnt mess up one bit!

She smiled and took his hand, kissing him once more. "Yeah. Don't you wanna hang with your friends though?" she asked.

"No, you..." He smiled gently as he ran out the door and into the night with her. He smiled as he kissed her passionatly pressing close to her as he smiled.

Vanity smiled and felt herself pulled outside. "I have to be home by ten. Or my mom will be pissy." she said, leaning in, kissing him back as he pulled her close to him.

"I really, really like you Adam. So I was wondering, even though it's really soon.... Do you wanna be my boyfriend?" she asked shyly, her brown eyes moving up, looking into his. This would be so embarassing, so damn aweful if he said no. It'd be awkward.

Adam smiled warmly as he pulled her close to him, her body up against his as he pressed his soft, warm lips to hers passionatly. "Of course!" he smiled as he contuned to kiss her under the stars. His heart fluttered and he lost his breath, but he stayed strong and kept kissing her deeply and passionatly, loving the feelings.
