So, Vanity lived in town, meaning she usually walked home. Since the apartment wasn't too far off. Yeah, she lived with her mom, though her mom was never home. When she was though, she usually tore the house up, which Vanity managed to keep clean. She was half her mom's age, and it seemed she was the mature one.
Anyways, she stood outside, planning to hang around for a little while. No sense in going home right then, nothing to do there, and she wanted to wait until her mom went to work, or went on one of her dates. Stupid whore, she thought to herself. She never did like her mom. But she had nowhere else to go. She didn't know her dad. She didn't even know his damn name! She understood why he had left her mom though.
Walking over, she sat on a black bench, pulling her phone out. She had put Adam's number in, last period. She texted him, smiling some. "Hello there. It's Vanity." she sent, then waited for a reply. She ignored her two friends, who sat on both sides of her, both of the girls looking over, watching her text. She glanced around again, to see the blonde male. Getting up, she walked over, grabbing his sides playfully. "Miss me?" she teased.

Adam waited at the corner of the building, sighing gently as he waited and waited for Vanity to walk out. He lived in town as well, and the apartments wouldn't be far from here so he always walked home everyday, saving the gas in his car for other "occasions" as he liked to call them.
He didn't see her coming out. He pulled his phone out checking the time. He had 4 hours till he show tonight, and he felt the adrenaline rushing through his veins. He was on a natural high, so happy and nervous and a bunch of other emotions all rolled up into one. It soon broke as his phone vibrated. He glanced down seeing her text.
Right before he was about to respond, she had walked up and grabbed at his sides. "Yeah!" he chuckled teasing her back. Her touch was electric to him, always feeling some sort of spark or warm fuzzy feeling each time she laid a hand on him.

Vanity smiled and looked up. "Good. Cause I kinda miss you too. And it's odd, because I haven't known you long." she laughed slightly, removing her hands from his sides. "So what do you wanna do Mr. Adam." she giggled softly. Yeah, she could be a dork, but she didn't care. No reason so hide how she acted fifty percent of the time. She was simply playful.
"I can't wait to see you guys play. I like seeing non-famous bands. Seeing what the world is missing, ya know?" she said, taking his hand barely, pulling him to a bench, letting go as she sat. "I don't wanna stand. Been running around all day." she laughed again. That was another thing, she loved to laugh.

Adam smiled as he heard her. "Yeah I know right?" he said as he chuckled gently. He did miss her, and it was pretty odd since they just met today. Maybe he was rushing things, but it all seemed just too right. It felt great, and it felt right, so he guessed there was no problem with it.
"Well I'm glad to see you're excited!" He chuckled as he was pulled to the bench. He loved her laugh, it always brought a smile to his face, like it was doing just now. "I really don't know what to do. I had plans to walk you home and stuff." He told her as he slid his phone back into his jean pocket.

Vanity smiled as he said, 'I know right?'. She always thought it was cute. And his laugh wasn't helping her much. Somehow she found herself slowly falling for him. He was sweet, cute, and somewhat a few things in common. This was the best day ever, just about.
"I'm glad you want me to come." she added, looking down slightly. "You wanna walk me home?" she asked, another smile coming to her face as she glanced up at him. "I'd accually love that. Do you wanna go now, or wait here for a while?" she asked.

Adam smiled gently. "Well we can go right now if you want? It's all up to you." He told her as kept smiling softly at her. He found himself slowly falling for her as well, which was really odd. He had been in relationships before, most of them ended with the other leaving him. He told himself just a couple of weeks ago that he was done with girls. He hated the fact that no matter how hard he tried, they just seemed to use him, which didn't help him much at all due to his problems deep down inside him.
Yet, here he was, sitting with a cute girl. She made him smile, laugh, even feel warm on the inside. All the others had made him smile slightly, or laugh a bit, but never made him feel as warm as he did when he was around her. He looked into her as eyes as he waited for her answer.

Vanity giggled and nodded, "Now is fine." she said, getting up. "This way." she smiled, leading him off down the empty sidewalk. "Well, you sure you wanna walk me home? It's like... fifteen minutes or so." she said. "At a fast pace So about 20 if we walk like this." she smiled.
She noticed she still had ahold of his hand, and quickly let go. "So... what would you like to talk about?" she asked, glancing up at him shyly.

Adam nodded and smiled. "Yeah I'm sure the show isnt til 7 and i gotta get ready at 6." he said with a chuckle, feeling her let go of his hand. He was kinda sad that she did, but it would be ok for now.
"Um, I really don't know." He laughed slightly. He was bad sometimes at making up a converstaion, especially when he was around a cute girl that he liked. He smiled as he kept walking with her down the empty sidewalk, sticking his hands in his pockets as they continued.

Vanity looked down at her phone, it was only three in the afternoon. "So we have some time to hang out?" she asked, looking back to him.
"Well... do you have any pets?" she asked. Maybe this convo would go to a better conversation later. She slid her hands into her hoodie's pockets, looking down shyly as they walked on.

Adam nodded and smiled. "Yeah we'll have some time." he told her as they continued to walk. He chuckled lightly at her question. It was a good attempt at a convo, so he really couldn't blame her for the lame question.
"No actually I don't." he replied as he reached up, scratching the back of his head a little. He kinda wished he had a pet, but he would probably forget to feed it and it would kill him in the middle of the night because of it. He chuckled slightly at that stupid thought. "What about you?"

A weak smile went to her face as she answered and nodded slightly. "None." she said, "Sorry. I ask lame stuff." she laughed lightly, moving closer to him as they walked. "So....um..." she said, thinking to herself.

"So what?" Adam said as he he saw her move closer. They were about to reach her house, or so it seemed cause they started to walk slower and slower. "It's fine, I ask lame stuff all the time!" he assured her as they continued.

Vanity stopped, they were there. "Second floor" she said, taking him up the stairs, into her room. "Ugh. Mom's been here.." she muttered. "Or it'd be way cleaner..." she growled some, setting her stuff down. "You can set your stuff down, if you want." she smiled, walking over, sitting on the couch. Her mom was gone to work by now.

Adam followed her up the steps and into her room. The room was trashed, but it was no different than his really. He sat his backpack down by the door as he smiled walking over to her. "It's fine!" he assured her. "My room is just as dirty." He chuckled as he sat down on the couch with her.

"Usually it's clean. But my mom throws shit around." Vanity said, glancing to the male. It was hard not to look at him. "So...." she muttered, putting her arms around him, in a hug, as she closed her eyes. "You're warm." she giggled. For some reason, she always seemed to be cold. She stopped hugging him, "Do... you wanna watch tv?" she asked.
