HAIR: Hero's hair is extremely long, falling down to the small of her back in thick waves. Her hair is a carmel-y brown colour, with a lot of natural blonde highlights in it. It's very, very thick, and though it's not very shiny, it's very beautiful.
EYES: Dark gray, and very, very expressive.

PERSONALITY: Hero is, right off the bat, one of the sweetest girls you will ever meet. She's very kind, always smiling, and will always be there if you need someone to lean on. To her, other people come first, no matter what. She can be a bit shy at first, but that awkwardness disappears after speaking a few sentences to a new person. Really, she's afraid that people will judge her or dislike her because she's not American. One of her biggest fears is not being liked, so she tries her very hardest to be a nice person.

Along with her being somewhat shy, Hero is also incredibly charming, though she seldom realizes it. She has a very pretty smile, which is often described as captivating. Her laugh is also a very distinctive quality. It's not loud or breathy, or overly high-pitched, but soft and glittery sounding. Hero has a good sense of humour, and is a good sport about being made fun of a little bit. However, she knows the difference between being teased and being made fun of for real.

When Hero's not up on stage or reading lines, her nose is buried in a novel. She loves mysteries and horror stories, but surprisingly isn't a big fan of romance novels. She finds them too predictable, and most of the time, cheesey, except for Only Revolutions, which is one of her favourite books. She loves reading Shakespeare, and often dreams about playing the roles of several of the lead female characters. She's an actress at heart, and really feels that she belongs on the stage with other actors. Though she can be shy when you first meet her, on stage she's full of energy and life, and most importantly, confidence.

Hero is also somewhat of a hippie. She loves the outdoors and nature, and in the summer, she is often seen running around without shoes on. She's a huge supporter of world peace, and absolutely hates the idea of war. Her brother was a soldier, and died in battle, and ever since then she has been even more anti-war.

AUTOBIOGRAPHY: Hero was born and raised in Clydesdale, Scotland. She was brought up by a fun-loving couple who were married when they were 20 and 21. Thomas, called Tommy, was their first child, and six years later, Hero was born unexpectedly. She wasn't an accident, persay, but she wasn't planned like Tommy was. Despite the somewhat large gap in their ages, Hero and Tommy actually got along very well considering that they were siblings. Hero was distraught when he joined the military at the age of 18, instead of going to college. Not even six months later, after fighting in a war, one of Tommy's army friends showed up at their doorstep, with a letter and a solemn look on his face.

The McLaghan family was torn. David and Lilian constantly argued and fought. Their fun-loving attitude was replaced by regret and guilt, which they often took out on their daughter. Hero's grades began to slip, and her parents eventually decided that the best thing to do for Hero would be to send her to live with Lilian's sister and brother-in-law in Arizona. Though Hero didn't really want to leave Scotland, she wanted to get away from her current family situation. Being there just made her more sad about losing her brother, and best friend. So Hero moved to America at the age of 16, and transferred to the highschool closest to her aunt and uncle's home.
