I started to worry. Torrenn wasn't back yet and I know he's fast but... something might've happened to him.. And I think I have every right to worry though. Anna was freaking out still about her brother being gone and Kari was scared, she said, "Hey... Don't you think we should get to the inn now?" I didn't want to leave the boys... but... we were exhausted and Anna needed to chill out. I sighed finally, looking over at her, "Yeah." I huddled close to what was left of my small group and started walking, keeping a eye out for Torrenn and Lucas. I knew they could take care of themselves but... They're my family. I can't function without my brothers and sisters...


We got to the inn... but... No cars. Pure silence. Nothing moved... All you could hear was crickets and the night breeze was calming Anna down a little, she had stopped fretting but now she whined, "Zoee... I'm sleepy..." I said, "We're here, I just have to check in kay?" She gave me a nod and we walked in through the door, it made a tinkly noise from the bell and there was a girl with red hair and blue-gray eyes typing away on a computer, she seemed to have headphones in too so I tapped the desk a little and she jerked her head up. She blushed and dragged her headphones out and said, "Can I help you?" She smiled, I... Was that fangs?! I tried not to look worried as I nodded, "Yeah, We're needing a room for five please.." The girl looked around us, she knew there was only three so I added, "The other two are on their way." The girl nodded, I looked at her faded nametag, Meghan was her name. Hm. She continued to grin, her fangs sticking out as I waited for her to give us our roomkey. When she did so I smiled back and said a thank you and walked out the door with Anna and Kari right behind me. Kari grumbled, "She's on my suspicious list." Anna giggled, "I bet. Everyone's on your suspicious list Kari!" Kari grinned and ruffled the little girl's hair and teased, "And you're Number One!"
