Placerville, Sacramento seems like a quiet town to most, humans in particular, but it’s most certainly nothing of the sort. Underneath the façade of the simple area are secrets kept quiet for centuries. Secrets that, if discovered, could jeopardise the lives of everyone living there, whether aware or naïve to them.
High school is a difficult time for most: trying to fit in and find your place in the world and Emerson High is no exception. There are always those who like the limelight and those who prefer to go unnoticed but here there are many other reasons for a student’s choice. Many humans at the school attend, completely oblivious to their classmates who are a little….different…?
Other humans have the task of keeping the truth secrets where others, hunters, wish for nothing more than to rid the world of these creatures that plague the earth, killing with no exceptions or questions asked.
For some it’s not bad enough having the usual teenage problems and worries but also the knowledge that you never will completely fit it…
