Las Marejadas is located right on the shore and is close to damn near no other cities, making it as close to a utopia as you can get in most places. It's got all the things a big city would have, but on a slightly smaller scale. Perfect waves, beautiful beaches, killer clubs, a combined elementary/middle school that has some of the best teachers in the state, a high school that is rumored to be one of the new Ivy League gate ways (if you don't decide to go to the local college). Sounds pretty damn good I'd say.
The town is perfect for a get away.
More so for some, it seems, than for others.
For whatever reason The Gifted, people who have been gifted with special abilities, feel drawn to this town, seeking it out when they go into hiding from their friends, family and in some cases the government. Not one of The Gifted knows what it is that draws them to this town, all they know is it’s the only place they feel safe.
And they will continue to feel safe, so long as no one finds out their secret. Until then all they can do is try to live life as normally as possible, telling their secret only to those that need to know and keeping it under lock and key around everyone else and continue on happily.
After all, you only get One Life . . .
. . . so Live It Right.
