Vanity looked at him, smiling at his classes. She then nodded some, "Yeah,... lunch." she said, watching the two boys leave. She didn't mean to ignore the blind boy, it was just, she was interested in Adam, more than anyone she'd met so far. "I'll text you. When I have it. Thanks." she giggled softly, grabbing her books, walking off down the opposite hallway.

He rose a brow unintentionally. What the heck was with this school? One minute it didn't matter that he was there and then it suddenly did when he decided to leave? He thought about shrugging this odd guy off; he didn't exactly sound like the kind of guy who'd enjoy watching a blind boy figure out which way he was supposed to be drinking his coffee. But then an agonizing thought came to him quickly.. If he refused to show an interest in communication with others, his 'counselor' would probably consider him clinically depressed..
He sighed, knowing that his counselor nagging him would be worse than going through hell and back three times.. It would also be rude to decline after he tried to make up for before; he was never one for scolding manners.. "It's fine about before," he answered quickly. "I guess it's not your fault." He could blame hormones for that.
He found himself hungry anyway, even though he had two breakfasts before coming to school. But then again, two was usually not enough to sustain him.. "We can go get some coffee or something, but you're not buying me anything. I buy my stuff, you buy yours." His appetite was unusual, he knew. He wasn't about to take advantage of that guy's wallet when he had his own money somewhere in his piles of junk.

"You sure? I don't mind!" Adam said as he walked with Ken down to the cafeteria, wading through the Freshmen that were piling in for lunch. ' I swear one of these days I'm gonna kill 'em' he thought to himself, seeing as the school had a low tolerance for threats and violence. He couldn't risk one of the sensitive one's to go home screaming to their mommy that a Junior was gonna bring a gun and kill them.
He sighed as he walked up to a section in the corner of the room that was made up of two small snack carts. This happened to be the snack stand where the student's were allowed to buy things there during lunch. Adam didn't have lunch until next period, but he knew it would be no problem due to his good grades in school. He smiled at the new lunch lady working the stand. Adam noticed they always put the fresh ones out in the open so they'd get a taste of the real students.
"Hey there!" Adam said with a kind smile. The lady smiled back in turn to return the gesture. "I'd like one coffee and..." His voice trailed off as he waited for Ken to speak his order.

"I'm telling you, your wallet will suffer if you ask to pay for me," he said, trying to think up what he wanted to eat. He could smell a diverse array of food and coffee... coffee especially, but he didn't know what he wanted.. And then it came to him in a sort of "vision," but more as a smell. Pastries.. As always, his stomach begged for pastries. But there were no pastries here; he had to improvise.
"Six bagels and a cup of coffee, please," he smiled slightly, not wanting to rude. That was his typical lunch though; he didn't know if they had good donuts or not, but he'd eat them either way. There was no way he was paying for six BAGELS and not eating them in the end...
As he'd expected, it was loud in the caf. People were bustling and laughing, enjoying their bit of time off while they could. He felt a bit envious; he couldn't remember a time when he was ever happy like that. He quickly reached into his very useful pocket, pulling out his leather wallet. He felt the wallet a bit more, wanting to make sure it was his wallet. He'd asked his grandmother to imprint the kanji of his name into it, and he could certainly feel the "bumps" that were his name.
He quickly opened his simple wallet, pulling out seven singles. It should be enough to pay for his 'meal'. He only kept singles in his wallet; after all, what difference did a twenty dollar bill have from a single dollar besides value? They all felt they same, so he might as well keep his life simple and carry singles all the time. He extended his arm out slightly, handing it to the lunch lady. "Keep the change." he almost begged. Change didn't exactly work for him.
