Adam smiled and quickly followed her out of the classroom and into the busy, busy hallways. He tried his best to keep up with her as he got run into several times by different freshmen. He gave out a groan as teh forth one bumped into him. 'Watch Freshie!" he shouted after the kid who was running away. "Thats one thing I hate...Freshmen"
He walked into the class with Vanity, choosing a lab table nearest to the back, hoping that with that choice he'll be able to have a half-decent conversation with her, and not be interrupted by the teacher, who seemed to be very laid back for this type of class.
Looking up on the chalkboard he saw the words, 'Welcome to Class' written in neat cursive letters. He got a slight shiver as he thought about the sounds of nails on a chalkboard. He watched patiently as other's filed into the class, the teacher walking around and laying a stack of papers on each lab's table.

Vanity winced slightly, being pushed around in the halls by the lost freshman, and a few of the seniors. She made it to class with him and laughed slightly. "Me too. Sucks to know I was once one..." she said, following him to the back. She wasn't sure if she should of sat beside him or infront of him. So she sat infront, so it'd be easier for the two to speak. "So..." she said, smiling slightly, looking down to the table. "Um... what would you like to talk about?" she asked.

He felt like whacking all the others in the hallway with the cane he had back home; they were all blocking his way to class. He was already two minutes late, he didn't need to be an eternity late. Freshmen.. he thought to himself, shoving a few remaining lost people out of his way.
A stick of pocky sticking out of his mouth, he walked into his science class, smirking as the teacher asked him to throw out his pocky. He obeyed quickly, not wanting to cause too much trouble on his first day. He had about three boxes of it in his backpack anyway, so he didn't have to worry.
Feeling generally unpleasant, he didn't bother to look around to look for a seat; he decided to sit next to a random girl about a about a table or two from the back row. He was pretty sure he'd blend into the rest of the class, so he thought she wouldn't care anyway. She seemed to be talking with someone in back of her. I'm right, as always, he thought to himself.
He frowned to himself as he remembered what class he was in again. Science, a class he despised. He didn't know why he had to take this class since he was blind. What good did atoms and the process of photosynthesis do to a blind person. Maybe they want me to be in an experiment, he thought to himself, smirking slightly.
Knowing he generally didn't want to pay attention, he reached in his jean pocket, pulling out one of his boxes of pocky. He hid the brown box beneath his desk, reaching into it to pull out a stick of chocolate pocky. He immediately stuck it in his mouth, chewing on it slightly as it stuck out of his mouth. Science. Just a wonderful time for the wonders of pocky..

"Anything really" Adam said with a smiled as he looked back at her. It took some getting use to, to not gaze into her eyes, although he wanted to so very badly. He still did every once in awhile, and she always caught him cause she'd give a faint little blush. It was cute.
He watched as the last of the students piled in, the followed by a kid with a cane. The first word that came to Adam's mind was Blind. He watched as the kid threw away something he was eating. He couldn't really tell from the distance and Adam thought to himself ' Geez I need some contacts'. He chuckled lightly to his own joke.
Adam predicted the kid would wind up sitting by them and sure enough he sat down right beside Vanity. Being nice he tapped the kid on the shoulder, seeing if he was just as friendly. "Hey you look new" he spoke up smiling at the kid.

Vanity smiled to him. "Well I have no idea what to stay, not without feeling stupid." she said slightly, blushing once more as she caught his last gaze. He was one of the more sweeter guys she have met, though he easily made her nervous, scared to say anything. MAybe he was quick to judge?
She watched the rest come in, looking at the male with the cane. She smiled slightly. She never met a blind person, and she guessed he was either blind, or had a weak leg or something.
She nodded, "You do...." she said, "Though, I swear I saw you around, last year." she said, smiling still. She watched him sneak the pocky into his mouth and giggled, not quite sure what it was though. Some yogurt covered bread sticks? "Well, aren't you sneaky?" she said, the teacher didn't notice him eating, so she guessed he was.

He'd never expected these people to talk to him. He'd miscalculated a bit. He'd talk to them, he supposed; it was rude to not reply and he was not one for being rude toward others. He didn't turn at all, though; he knew he'd look stupid if he tried to turn and ended up facing the wrong way, which he did too often. He had too much pride to do that.. "Yes, I'm new," he said quietly, chewing on his stick of pocky. He liked the crunching sound the biscuit made when he chewed it. "Just transferred here, so I'm not sure who you saw last year, Miss.."
He remembered that he asked his grandmother to read the directions to his classes from the main entrances and class entrances a million times; he'd even recorded her saying it. She didn't enjoy that much, though. He kept his recorder in his backpack, and he kept a secondary one in his iPod pocket, just incase he lost his backpack. It was ridiculous, he knew, but he never wanted to forget ever again.
He'd heard her comment of him being sneaky for deciding to eat during class. He smirked a bit at the thought of him being sneaky. He was usually as obvious as obvious could; could it be that he was getting better? "I'm not sneaky," he said in his calm and low voice, "that teacher just doesn't notice things as well as they'd like to."
He'd might as well talk if he had to spend his time in this terrible class. He didn't like science, nor did he like listening to a person preach about it. He began to seriously eat his pocky, finishing the stick off before replacing it with another shortly.
He reached into his other pocket, feeling his beloved iPod in there. If need be, he'd pull it out to ease his boredom too; a bit of loud J-Rock wouldn't hurt anything beside his ears and cause a bit of noise pollution, after all.

Adam chuckled at the kid, watching him sneak, what looked like some kind of cracker stick, into his mouth from underneath the lab table. "You still are sneaky" he said flashing a grin at Vanity. Soon the class was called to attention by the sound of a gavel beating on the teacher's desk.
Half the class flew by as the teacher kept talking on and on about the class requirements, what they'd be doing, and so and and so forth. Adam tried his best to stay awake, but every once in awhile found himself asleep on the table, his thoughts focused on Vanity.
' Maybe things could be different this time' He thought to himself. ' Maybe I can find someone to trust and confide in, that won't back down...but then again if pigs could fly!' He sighed deeply to himself as the teacher gave them what little time they had left to talk, which was when he noticed the kids mp3 going off. He chuckled and listened to the music, waiting for Vanity to strike a convo.

Vanity looked from the blind male, to Adam. She giggled softly as he flashed his grin at her. She liked it though, how he seemed to act near her. Her brown eyes looked to the blind kid again, that worked. She yawned slightly, they had over twenty minutes left until the class ended. "So... Adam. Um..." she started, trying to think of something to ask him.
"Um... what's your...favorite animal?" she asked then winced. That was lame, asking him what his favorite anything was. She was gonna ask for his number, but it'd be too soon. Already the girl trusted him though. He was sweet, his voice was melodic, and he was more than cute. Charming too. "Ignore...that. That was lame. I'm sorry." she blushed some, looking at him still.

Seeing that they were generally more focused on themselves than anywhere, he left them to talk among themselves. He was sure he wasn't too interesting to talk to, anyway.
He pulled out his headphones, turning on his iPod from inside his pocket. He certainly wasn't going to pay attention in this class, after all. He flipped through his song list, eventually just leaving it on one of his songs there for entertainment, "Daikenkai" by Des-Row. He enjoyed the nonsense lyrics in the song, and the beat was good as well. Usually not his choice of a song, but it'd do for now.
He slouched in his seat, relaxing for a bit. This day was going to be long and painful, he knew. A new kid in a new school; his day was bound to be boring with all the conversing that went on in this school. Oh well, he shrugged it off quickly, brushing his messy hair out of his sightless eyes; he didn't want his hair to bug his contacts. Being here is better than being with the counselor..
He chewed on his stick of pocky blankly, spacing out to make the time pass quicker. He listened to "Daikenkai" replay quite a few times, chuckling a bit at the first line. The song really had no point in his opinion, but it was good for entertainment. Wondering if it was too loud, he switched to the next song, "Cage" by Dir en Grey.
He went through his stick of pocky too quickly, and waited a minute or so to pop another in. He got a coffee-flavored one this time. He surely enjoyed the taste of coffee with a bit of sugar mixed in.
He could hear the girl talking to the boy, who he could guess was named Adam. When his iPod was silent as it prepared to repeat the song, he listened in on their conversation slightly. He then remembered something, and felt rude.
After all, a man should never talk to others without introducing himself first. "I apologize," he felt odd for just interrupting if they were about to talk. He was sure they could just go back to talking afterward, though. "I didn't introduce myself. May I be so bold as to ask who you two are?"

Adam rolled his eyes playfully at Vanity. "No, it's not lame at all" he assured her as he flashed her another smile. "Mine would have to be a giraffe, as stupid as it sounds" He laughed at himself. Why a giraffe? that made no sense whatsoever!? They practically did nothing at all. He sighed feeling really lame now as he looked at the clock. '15 minutes left...damn i better hurry'he thought to himself as he looked over at Vanity.
After a few minutes of banter he finally worked up the courage to do what he always wanted to do. He reached in his pocket, ripping off a piece of paper from his math homework, and sat it on the desk. "Here I want to let you ha-" he was cut off by the blind kid. "Oh, I'm Adam" he spoke kindly, even though deep down he was quite irritated. It just seemed one thing after another came up. He quickly penciled down his cell number and folded it up, waiting for the right moment.

Vanity looked up at the male and smiled again, as he began to talk. But the blind man interupted. She started to say something, but instead Adam did. "Vanity." she said after the male infront of her. She glanced down at his hands looking at the folded up paper. "You want me to have what?" she asked, leaning in a bit closer to him. She didn't like being so far away.

((OOC: skin me alive i know I'm posting out of order but i doubt very seriously I'll be on today due to my friend's site >.<)) Adam's heart rushed as Vanity leaned forward. Was it too soon to flat out give her his number? His mind raced miles of head of the present as he blinked and tried to stumble out a few words. "I-Um Y-yeah I wanted you to have this!" His voice was cheery still, even though he was completely scared out of his mind and stuttered. He held out the piece of paper for her to take.
Giving the paper to Vanity felt more like a lifetime then the actual quick second it took. He didn't know what it was about her. He felt like maybe she was the one who would break him back to normal. At least he hoped so.

(Err. Just because of a friend's site really isnt a good enough reason..) She looked down at the paper, smiling. "You're number?" she asked. "Cool. I'll text or call you later or something." she said, her brown eyes dropping to the number. It wasn't too soon. She kind of liked him going a little fast. "Well...what are the rest of your classes?" she asked, looking at the number still, unable to take the smile off of her face. The boy was cute, that was for sure. She also found him a bit funny, odd. Which she too liked. "I have Textiles, English, then Choir, Gym, then um...." she thought for a moment. "Business, and Anthropology." she smiled. Yeah, she had a few odd classes, but she didn't mind. She heard they were quiet easy.

Ooc: Might as well get my character out of your ways.
Bic:
Taking off his headphones and turning off his iPod in his pocket, he sighed to himself, remembering where he was. High school, the central for hormones. He'd better leave them alone; a blind boy shouldn't be in the way, especially not one with respect. He wasn't going to algebra next period anyway, so he might as well start his slacking now. Sure, his grandmother would skin him alive if he was caught, but at this point, anything was better than class.
He picked up his backpack, placing it on his right shoulder. He asked quickly to go to the restroom, putting on his respectful tone. When a teacher is given respect, they allow you to get away with things often, he knew. He stepped up quickly, wanting to get out of this dreaded class. Before walking out of class, he mumbled slightly, "My name is Kenryoku. Feel free to forget it."
He quickly walked out of the room, knowing he surely wasn't coming back to that class again, at least for that day. Maybe he'd got eat some Dunkin Donuts if he could find a place nearby, or maybe he'd just wander outside..
But then again, pocky was unrivaled by all of the junk in the world.

Adam smiled and nodded now relieved that she didn't turn his number down. He hated going fast, but it seemed like the right thing to do and it never hurt to have more friends either. He listened to her spill her classes as he sighed internally. ' Great! The rest of the day is going to suck' he thought to himself as he still smiled on the outside.
"Well I've got English and Yearbook, then Music Tech and Astronomy, wrapping the day up with Art and Gym" Adam spoke softly as he chuckled at his little joke. ' Maybe I can get my Gym switched to her period, or maybe we'll at least have lunch..' His thoughts went sour as he heard the bell ring. He listened to the blind boy mumble his name and he shook his head. ' Yeah I should be more kind to that guy' he thought as he once again folded up his papers and stuck them in his pocket.
"Well I hope to see you at lunch!" he grinned as he walked toward the door. He turned back to look at her and smiled, throwing up a hand as he gave a slight twist of his wrist, waving bye to her. He then ventured forth outside to catch up with Ken. "Hey man sorry about back there, I didn't mean to be rude." His voice was kind. "Here let me buy you a coffee, or a donut, or something!" He acted as desperate as he could, but he failed when it came to acting. He chuckled lightly as he walked with Ken.
