Seventy years ago, a small, mysterious island appeared just off the southern coast of Japan. A man by the name of Nijikumo Daichi travelled to the island, out of curiosity and the hope of bringing honor to his family. While exploring the island, he found a small meadow with roses of brilliant colors.
Each rose petal had different colors. Daichi was mesmerised by the beauty of these, tempted to pick one to bring home to his wife. He decided to leave the rainbow roses where they were and bring his wife here.
Years past, and more and more people came to the island forming a city around that small meadow. People appreciating the beauty of the flowers that brought everyone here.
Daichi's three children took over the city once he passed on. Yukiko, the eldest daughter made some poor mistakes during her reign. The middle child, Koyuki didn't want anything to do with running the city. The current mayor as you might call it, Yuki is currently trying his best to keep the city running smoothly and correct the mistakes his eldest sister made.
